Guests will have access to the entire apartment, it is not shared and is completely private. Like most row homes in D.C there are tenants living above, so we ask that folks be respectful of noise late at night.

This quiet corner of iconic Capitol Hill feels close to all the action, but far enough away to ensure restful nights - a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle!
Aside from being so close to the United States Congress, Capitol Hill is the largest historic residential neighborhood in Washington DC stretching easterly in front of the United States Capitol along wide avenues. It is one of the oldest residential communities in Washington, and, with roughly 35,000 people in just under 2 square miles (5 km2), it is also one of the most densely populated.
You`re also a very short walk, bus, metro or Uber ride from a number of other neighborhoods not to be missed; including Union Market, Chinatown, Gallaudet University, and the Navy Yard.
Getting Around:
You`ll be able to take advantage of everything the city has to offer!Guests can be on the steps of the United States Capitol in 25 minutes, there is a convenient bus stop located 6 minutes on foot from the apartment.The closest metro is Stadium Armory Metro (Orange, Silver & Blue lines). Guests can walk there in under 15 minutes, and from there you can traverse the Nation`s Capitol with ease and speed!
Prefer something more active? Several Capital Bikeshares are located short strolls away; they offer bike rentals by the hour at excellent rates - a truly awesome way to explore the city, the Potomac Tow Path, the Anacostia Waterfront, and nearby Virginia and Maryland! Cultivate a cinematic experience and bike to the National Mall in 15 minutes!
Guests to the lively Eastern Market / Barracks Road neighborhood in 30 minutes (D6 bus can take you there in 25, or you can bike there in 10) - guests will have no shortage of things to buy, see, and eat! Grocery stores, pharmacy and every other essential are just a few minutes’ walk from the home.

~ Like most homes in D.C there are tenants living upstairs in the 'main house'.Please note that the everyday sounds and noises of life (footsteps, stairs, etc.) may be heard in both directions.
