Welcome to The Hangar Lodge, a new vacation home with four acres of wide-open space in Spirit Lake, Idaho.
Our home revolves around nature, from sprawling lawns and woods to two patios for enjoying it all. Inside, enjoy our all-new furnishings, gourmet kitchen, fireplace and many windows that connect you to the beauty of North Idaho. We also have a private airstrip so you can watch planes come and go (or fly in yourself upon approval).

The Space:
SPIRIT LAKE LOCATION
The Hangar Lodge is located off a country lane in Spirit Lake, Idaho – 28 miles to Coeur d’Alene and 10 miles to Silverwood Theme Park.
Nature abounds at every turn, with everything in Spirit Lake just minutes away. Enjoy picnics at Fireside Park along with swimming, fishing and boating at the lake. You can also explore hidden waterfalls and hike or bike along the Empire Trails system. Maine Street is a charming step back in time, with shops and restaurants housed in buildings from the early 1900s – our favorites include Brickel Creek Coffee, Sondahl Pottery, Mi Pueblo Authentic Mexican and the celebrated White Horse Saloon.
We are also seven miles to Athol, where you’ll find grocery stores and eateries like Candle in the Woods and Country Boy Cafe which serves breakfast all day. Farragut State Park is a wonderful choice for fishing, horseback riding and disc golf.
4-ACRE YARD
Our home spans four acres, connecting you with grassy lawns, evergreen trees and moose tracks that invoke wonder. Enjoy slow mornings and sunset hours on two covered patios, or grill up your fresh catch beneath the glow of the moon. Our wide open spaces invite play and exploration, from picnics under pine trees to games of cornhole and badminton. A show-stopping amenity you won’t find elsewhere: a private airstrip where you can watch planes fly in and out (to fly in yourself, please contact us).
LIVING ROOM
The living room is outfitted in earthy blues and woods that soothe the senses. Relax on the plush sectional sofa with decorative pillows, a few of them in worldly shibori patterns. Here, share stories from your day or settle in for movie nights as the fireplace is aglow. On sunny afternoons, there’s no better place to unwind as groves of trees glisten just beyond.
KITCHEN & DINING AREA
The kitchen and dining area are spacious and airy, each with aviation artwork that nods to our most unique amenity. Custom rustic hickory cabinets draw your eye and hold all the cookware and dishware you’ll need to make delicious meals. There’s no shortage of counter space or room for everyone to comfortably gather here. You’ll also find new stainless steel appliances, an air fryer and coffee & tea bar with hot cocoa.
Our center island is great for light bites and nightcaps, while the wooden table calls for meals and games beneath a pendant chandelier (choose from Uno, poker, Trivial Pursuit and more). Through the sliding glass doors, our main patio and yard await.
3 BEDROOMS
Three bedrooms are peaceful places for “me” time and sound sleep. All have soft carpeting, toss pillows, artwork, curtained windows and walk-in closets. More touches of home in two rooms include bedside tables with lamps, smart TVs and wooden propeller ceiling fans. Sliding doors in the primary suite also open to a patio with chairs.

2 BATHROOMS
Two bathrooms put you in vacation mode with marbled counters, black fixtures and more beautiful cabinetry. After days in the great outdoors, draw warm baths in the hallway bathroom or relax on the shower bench in the primary suite. We’re happy to stock plush towels and these amenities for you: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand lotion, cotton pads and swabs, hair ties and floss picks.
