This lake home is nestled on the east side of Round Lake. Its location provides the BEST sunsets in the area. The majority of the lake home is surrounded by water; as Sugar Bush Creek surrounds the property, along with 250ft of lake footage. The views are endless. It makes for the best family and/or friends’ getaway to relax and enjoy the lake life and all that Brainerd and Nisswa area has to offer year-round.
Once inside, enjoy the fully stocked kitchen. Its large butcher block island, which faces views of the creek; makes for the perfect prep space for those nights cooking in or making sandwiches for the beach! The granite peninsula provides extra barstool seating of 4. While opening into the dinning room where the table provides comfortable seating for 6. Take two steps down into the living room with the large windows and sliding glass door that opens to the deck. You will be amazed by the great view of Round Lake and the over acre yard space!
Note: There is a wood burning fireplace. However, due to liability it is not available for use.
The lake home can sleep 6-8 comfortably. The Master bedroom has queen-sized bed, private full bathroom and views of the creek. The second bedroom is a queen-sized bed, views of the lake with access to the master bedroom and bunkroom. The bunkroom is attached to the second room, which has one bunkbed that is full/full with lake and creek views. There is also a sliding glass door for a separate entrance to the deck.
Feel free to pack light! A set of front load washer and dryer are located off the kitchen. The second bathroom is conveniently located by the front door for when the kids are playing to hard and wait too long or that boat ride was a little too much fun!
The large wide front yard provides a great space for eating, yard games and room for kids to run. The fire pit is located on the NW corner, surrounded by both creek and lake. The perfect place to hear those Round Lake, Minnesota loons. The beach provides plenty of digging in the sand for the little ones. Also, enjoy a peaceful evening by taking out one of the paddle boards we provide up the creek or out into the lake. Don’t forget your fishing poles! We have the perfect spot just for the kids, off the bridge that lays over the creek!
Straight West from the private dock you have boat access to Gull Lake under 371 tunnel, through Bishops Creek (recommended for jet skis, pontoons, and fishing boats). This lake home has a private dock with plenty of room to tie up your own boat or a rental. There are numerous boat rental facilities in the area if you don’t have your own. The boat landing is 1.8miles, just down the road.
There are some great areas on the lake where you will find sand bars, one is just down south a little bit from the dock in one of the bays, where you will find pure sand to anchor, float, hang out and stick your feet in.
When not on the water, this location is convenient to many of the restaurants, breweries and shops. Check out Ernie’s on Gull , Zorbaz , Dock 77 , kids (and adults) would love Iron Waffle, and Chocolate Ox just to name a few! Don’t forget to enjoy some of the state’s best golf courses like, Maddens Golf Course (13mi), The Classic at Madden’s and Cragun’s Legacy Course. Brainerd International Raceway (BIR) and shopping in Nisswa.
