All parts of the house are accessible except the owner's garage.
Other things to note
**Please note that PARTIES, EVENTS, and LOUD OUTDOOR MUSIC are PROHIBITED per City of West Hills ordinance.
There will be a $500 fine assessed for any parties or events that are reported.
Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors.
Any music that is audible from the property line is a violation.
People's noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable.
Daytime is considered 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. **
ADDITIONAL SERVICES FOR OUR GUESTS:
• CLEANING FEE
We pledge to ALWAYS maintain exceptional cleaning standards as we endeavor to keep our rates low while still paying a living wage to the local people we get to work with.
100% of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners (i.e. no profit to us) and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests.
We pay an insurance fee to Vrbo which covers any accidental guest damage to the property as well as any guest injuries. More information can be found on the Vrbo website.
• CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check in is via smart lock no earlier than 4pm. Check out is before 10am as our cleaners will arrive promptly at 10am. Please review check-out instructions prior to departing.Should you require a late check-out, feel free to request this option based on availability. Please understand that in cases where a late check-out hasn't been pre-arranged, a late fee will be applicable.
The late fee structure is as follows:
Up to 4 hours past the designated check-out time: $50 per hour.
Beyond the initial 4-hour window: A late fee equal to double the nightly rate will be charged.
• CAMERAS/SECURITY: Outdoor security cameras with lights are located throughout the property on the perimeter of the home along with a camera doorbell for your security, and for your ability to communicate directly with your Host, should it become necessary. (As per Vrbo guidelines, tampering with any of our security features and/or cameras is strictly forbidden. If any guest is found tampering with any of our cameras, the entire stay will be terminated immediately, no refund of any type will be provided, a fine of $1,000 will be levied, and both the local authorities and Vrbo will be notified.)
• KITCHEN
The sleek and clean kitchen is fully equipped with a gorgeous double-door refrigerator with freezer, stove, oven, toaster oven, microwave, FULLY-stocked coffee maker & tea station with all the accouterments, and all the basic kitchen essentials: cookware, dinnerware, silverware, sharp knives, kitchen utensils, appliances, cups, glasses, plates, bowls, spices, and oils.
Our quartz countertops are beautiful so we ask that guests do not cut directly on them and to please use one of the many cutting boards provided.
The modern double-door refrigerator is full-sized and very spacious.
The kitchen is also equipped with a dishwasher and all cookware and dinnerware needed to prepare and enjoy a meal, but please bring your own preferred seasoning and additional ingredients.
•BATHROOMS
We provide the following bathroom necessities: several bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, razor, toothbrush, tooth paste, toilet paper, plungers, floor bathmats, and a hair dryer.
•FIRE
Due to the location of our property and the convenient size of our large backyard, our guests can enjoy an outdoor fire at the beautiful, solo stove fire pit surrounded by 4 comfortable chairs and seat pillows.
GUESTS MUST KEEP THE FIRE ATTENDED AT ALL TIMES.
When not in use, the fire must be extinguished.
If it is discovered that guests have started an outside fire, not the solo stove nor the bbq grill, or, using fireworks or other open fire, this will result in the rental agreement being terminated along with an additional $1,000 fine.
•BBQ: Only use the BBQ, if you are aware of how to use one. Keep BBQ in the designated outdoor area and keep a safe distance from flammable materials. Ensure there's always someone present while the BBQ is in use. Never leave it unattended. After use, briefly clean the BBQ and properly dispose of any waste, such as packaging or leftover food. Make sure to TURN THE BBQ OFF once finished.
• WASHER/DRYER
Our home has a washer and dryer available to guests. We also provide detergent, bleach, fabric softener and dryer sheets. All products are free of dyes and added fragrance. Please make sure NOT to OVERLOAD neither the washer nor the dryer!
• OUTDOOR FUN
We want to make sure that every single guest has plenty of fun options so we've loaded our place up with all kinds of great outdoor amenities including cornhole, hammock, board games, and a lot lot more.
• GUESTS
Guests are not permitted to have any additional guests on the property beyond those included in the rental agreement, unless previously requested and approved. That includes day guests and overnight guests. By renting this property, the guest responsible for the booking acknowledges that they have read, understand, and accept the terms listed here for use of the amenities and guest policy.
