Want some of the best fishing on the White River? Rivers Edge is just 200 yards above The Narrows on the White River, and located between Wildcat Shoals and White Hole. This is a great location for wade fishing. You can walk down the staircase to the river and wade right in.
If you're a boat fisherman, the waters behind Rivers Edge are some of the best on the River, and you will see guides fishing this area regularly. If you have your own boat, the Wildcat Shoals public access ramp is just 2 miles away. Guide services can also pick you up right by the staircase for an unforgettable day of fishing. Plus, River's Edge is an easy walking distance to Cranor's Guide Service (just 4 houses away).
Wake up to coffee on the deck, and enjoy the views of the beautiful White River. Nature is all around, with scenic views of the bluffs directly across the river, and an abundance of wildlife. We've seen eagles right above the deck and flying along the river. From the spacious deck (shady in the afternoon), it's quiet & peaceful and makes for a relaxing get-away. We love our nights relaxing on the deck!
River's Edge is an upscale getaway that has all the amenities of home, but is so peaceful and relaxing. The minute you walk in the front door, there's a great view of the deck, river, and bluffs directly across the river. There's plenty of room for a family or a weekend with friends. This 1900 sq ft home has an open floor plan with a great layout. The Master BR is on one side of the house, with the other two bedrooms & baths on the opposite side of the house. Enjoy the wood burning fireplace, fully equipped modern kitchen that has everything you'll need, and washer/dryer in the utility room.
Outside, there's a covered carport for your car & boat, and a fire pit to enjoy. The back deck is huge, with table & chairs that seats 6 , and an extra-large 30" Weber charcoal grill.
Spend a week or a few days. There is plenty to do on the river, at the lake, or in Branson or other areas. You will definitely enjoy your stay in the beautiful Ozarks, have plenty of fish stories to tell, and will arrive home rested & relaxed.

Summary: My wife and I stayed at Rivers Edge Lodge for 2 weeks and our son was able to join us for 1 week. The main purpose of out stay was fishing as my son and I fished with Cranor's Guide Service 4 different days while there. We caught Brown, Rainbow, Brook and Tiger Trout while fishing with Cranor's Guides. We also caught small Brown, Rainbow and Brook Trout from the shoreline below Rivers Edge. However, I must mention all the various Birds we saw while staying there, which included Bald Eagles, Vultures, Great Blue Heron, Woodpeckers, Blue Jays, Eastern Bluebirds, and many others. So, getting back to our stay, the Lodge was exactly as described in the the listing with a magnificent view of the White River and the bluff across the river from the back deck. The living quarters were nicely furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals. I really liked the overall layout of the bedrooms. This place is extremely quiet and relaxing. We tried to walk the almost 2 mile loop every morning/evening weather permitting and encountered many varieties of wildlife. Overall, I highly recommend this VRBO for a wonderful and relaxing escape. In addition, the local eateries are outstanding. For those that want to catchfish, look no further than booking a guided days fishing with Cranor's Guide Service, just up the river about 4 houses. You wont be disappointed with either. To sum it up in one word, our stay was outstanding.
