Summary: This house was quite unique as you can see in the pics. House was clean. The beds and couch were super comfy! good choice on furniture... The upstairs has an odd kind of layout. Not the easiest house to get around in mostly because of all the different levels. Even downstairs where its all "ground level" there are raised cement platforms that are easy to smash your toes into if your not used to the layout of that room. The firepit area was amazing and well stocked with wood! We did not spend as much time outside because of the weather. It was very wet around the house. The area around the house was muddy and the mosquitoes were relentless! Hanging out outside this house would be more enjoyable in the fall/winter weather. The term "lake access" seems a bit misleading to us considering you'd have to bring your own boat/kayak and launch it at a creek that feels like its on someone else's property. Technically we had right to be there but its too far from the house to just "hang out" there. The creek access spot is beautiful though. If the house was actually on the creek this place would be perfect... One more thing worth mentioning. While walking to the creek one evening my wife and I saw a black bear in the street about 1000ft away from us. Our son's say it chased them for about 10sec when returning to our house on their bikes. I don't know if it's true or not but the bear encounter was the highlight of the kids trip. Nobody got hurt and they will remember that forever...
