The space
We are delighted to welcome you to our newly renovated country home. Located in the quaint village of Ombersley, tucked away amongst the rolling hills of Worcestershire. Found right in between the historical cities of Worcester and Kidderminster and a stones throw away from the stunning Malvern Hills, an area of exceptional beauty. You will be staying in a charming 2 double bedroom home. Enjoy a cosy getaway with picturesque walks, local village shops and country pubs serving arguably the best food that Worcestershire has to offer.
My property sleeps up to 4 guests (two doubles). This building is part of the old post office in the village of Ombersley. At the front you can still see the old metal post box enclosed in the outer walls.
Ground Floor:
Entering from the front door, you arrive in to a large and well-equipped kitchen-diner. The kitchen is very generously sized, and kitted out for home dining. Use of appliances include an oven, electric hob, fridge freezer and washing machine. Smaller appliances include a microwave, kettle and toaster. The dining table comfortably seats four.
Walking up some steps leads to the light and airy living area. The living area is spacious with plenty of seating. There are two large sofas and a tub chair . The fireplace adds to the cosy feel. There are books, board games and a Smart TV in the living area (You'll need to use your own log in details for the TV applications). The oil fireplace adds to the cosy feel.
First Floor:
The first bedroom at the top of the stairs is the master bedroom with a double bed. The bedroom comes with a wardrobe, dressing table, and large en-suite shower.
The other bedroom on this floor is a double with wardrobe and dressing table. Next to the bedroom is a large family bathroom with shower over bath.
Outside:
Parking is available in the gated gravel area to the rear of the property with space that could easily accommodate four cars. Access to the parking area is along a quiet private road.
There is a private garden to the rear of the property with outdoor seating.
Guest access
Guests have access to the whole property.
Supermarkets
Jukes Stores is the local convenience store located in Ombersley village. If you need a larger supermarket then these are available in Droitwich Spa.
Local Restaurants
Ombersley is known as a foodie hidden gem. The local pubs (Cross Keys, Kings Arms and Crown and Sandys) all serve excellent food along with the Michelin recommended Venture In serving fine-dining. At the far end of Main Road there is a highly regarded Chinese restaurant called China City.
Local Attractions
Ombersley is a beautiful village with lots of authentic Tudor properties. We would recommend walking around the village following the local walking map. Maps can be collected from the local information board by the main roundabout. The River Severn is walkable from the village. Please walk along Main Road , past the Church, past the Cricket Pitch. One you reach a public footpath sign on the left and side you can follow the signs down to the River Severn to follow the beautiful Severn Way footpath.

The nearest train station is located in Droitwich Spa
Buses
The nearest bus stop is at the junction of Main Road and Chapel Lane. The bus runs approximate every hour and travels between Worcester and Kidderminster. Please be aware that the bus service finishes quite early.

Check-in time is after 4pm and check-out time is before 10am. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time as this will cause disruption to my cleaner’s schedule.
Please note that you will be charged £100 for lost keys, so please be careful with them.
