Welcome to your Woodstock Lake Allatoona Cottage!
May we introduce ourselves? We, Peter and June, live next door to the cottage and spend our retirement days enjoying nature right here! We are grateful that you’ve chosen our slice of paradise to spend time relaxing, reconnecting and rejuvenating.
PLEASE NOTE: the Corp of Engineers regulates the lake levels during the winter. Typically between mid September -mid March boating and swimming aren’t possible.
Now onto the good part:
You’ll have a hard time choosing between taking one of the hiking trails right in your backyard or taking a short drive to Red Top Mountain State Park. The deer, osprey, eagles and owls may greet you every day while you’re curled up on the porch. You, your family and pups can watch your favorite show on the screened in porch while wrapped up in a fluffy blanket drinking your favorite beverage. Board games, books, corn hole, croquet are ready to go.
A portable crib/ sheets and high chair are available upon request.
The Cottage is perfect for gourmet dinners, hot dogs on the grill or roasted at the fire pit!We’ve paid great attention to detail and believe you’ll find everything you need. Just bring your toothbrush.
You have a fully equipped kitchen including a professional Wolf Stove, wet bar with dedicated ice machine, Mr Coffee machine ( filters provided) and all new appliances. The power recliner, King size Select Comfort bed, porch swing and outdoor TV ensure you are relaxed inside and out! The fire pit, gas grill and cornhole boards=FUN!!! Firewood is included.
The custom cabinetry holds all manner of glassware and dinnerware for your Happy Hour and picnic.
Bath towels fill the antique linen cabinet. Shampoos and bath soap are ready for you. A fully equipped laundry room is available.
Because our neighborhood is a quiet place we require our guests respect the 10 pm-8am quiet time.
We love dogs! Please let us know if you are bringing a pup(s) as we have a welcome gift for them. Please note there is a $125 pet fee for all pets.
Important: No Smoking on the premises (inside or out), no parties or events. No more than 6 people unless prior approval is given.
