This fee will be added after the booking is confirmed and the initial booking is paid for -- Let us know if you want to bring your Dog! We are not able to host any other types of pets at this home. Please be mindful that this is the mountains and there are wild animals in the area.
- Backyard features a pool (not heated), BBQ grill and lush landscape. The pool is serviced weekly but due to the surrounding forest there is potential for debris to fall into the pool daily.

- No gatherings or parties allowed (strictly enforced)
- The exterior of this home is monitored by 24/7 surveillance recording devices for safety.
- Due to the mountain location, there are bugs and critters surrounding the property (the house is also treated for pests)
- The pool is serviced weekly and you may see the service tech during your stay.
- Landscaping is serviced regularly (frequency and days fluctuate by the season) and you may see the landscape team during your stay.
- Service techs let themselves into the backyard to service as needed. Please be sure to ask about this before booking if you think it might be an issue for you.
- For safety, no smoking or fires are permitted on the property
- Smart TVs with streaming capabilities (no local channels or cable).
- Pool use & outdoor activities are prohibited during the hours of 9PM-8AM.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire house except the garage that is reserved for storage. The Airstream trailer located off to the side of the property is also not for guest use (it is used for storage as well). Also please note that there is no heater available for the pool and there is no hot tub.
The Neighborhood:
This home is nestled in a quiet, peaceful, and natural location. Please be mindful of noise, especially while using the pool, as the property is located in a tight-knit community and noise travels. Most of the drive is on the highway, but the last mile or so of the drive is on a private, windy, bumpy, one way road. Please ensure this is something you’re comfortable with.
Getting Around:
This home is approximately 25-30 minutes outside of Santa Cruz, Scotts Valley, and Los Gatos.

Other Things to Note:
- The last quarter mile of the drive contains a one lane, private road that does require a confident driver. We do also require all guests to sign a liability waiver for driving on the private road and for the pool before check in.
- While this house is pet-friendly, please be mindful that wild animals are expected in the woods, so any pets should not be left unattended outside during the day OR night.
- There can be minimal cell phone reception on the way to the house. Make sure that you have your map loaded before you make the drive.
- Please be mindful that there is no gate around the pool and the pool is NOT heated.
- The pool is serviced weekly but due to the environment, it can collect debris daily.
- There is NOT a hot tub on this property.
- We have landscapers, pest service, pool techs, and other property maintenance done every week. You may see or hear these service professionals during your stay as they let themselves into the backyard to service as needed. Please be sure to ask about this before booking if you think it might be an issue for you.
- TV is a smart tv with streaming capabilities. There are no cable or local channels.
- The exterior of this home is monitored by 24/7 surveillance recording devices for safety.
We are required to stick to our cancellation policy and we suggest adding trip insurance for any last minute issues that may impact your travel (Weather, Illness, etc). We are not able to cancel, move or refund bookings that do not fall in our cancellation policy for any reason.
