Positive: It's cozy and intimate. The neighbors also looked friendly. A private inside hot tub is a really big plus for a room that is that affordable. The bed was super comfortable, if a little small. There is a corner store (dépaneur) just behind the building and across the street that is not even a 2 minute walk, and if you're bolder than us, you could even cut in the backyard to make it in under 30 seconds. AC works well, sound system in the hot tub room was nice, and while they don't have Netflix or Prime per say (and I couldn't find a way to cast), they do have a little gray area device that can play a good chunk of their repertories and more.
Negative: It was dusty, especially under the bed. There are no hand towels, and no places to hang the regular towels (okay, one fits on the door's handle). The toilet paper holder was also barely hanging by the screws. The picture didn't show one and it wasn't in the description, so I wasn't really expecting one to be there, but the amenities did list a pool. To my surprise, there was one, but it is not in working condition at the moment. It's likely an oversight and they forgot to uncheck the "pool" amenity in the listing. The shower head is a bit low. To be fair, the floor is raised a bit in the bathroom, so it's the highest it can be, but still a bit low (5 ft.10).
Summary: Good quality for the price, but needs a bit more care
