“Living Salty Villa” is A Beautiful Luxury Vacation home in a superb private location on a court, overlooking a wildlife lake and with views towards one of the many local golf courses – We don’t back up to any homes, and this view is difficult to find another vacation home with a comparable setting. The open Florida-style villa overlooks the saltwater heated pool with an upper-level hot tub that flows into the pool. Enjoy breathtaking water views, wildlife, and sunsets in peaceful, quiet, and private settings, from the pool at the rear of the villa, the lawn slopes down to the wildlife lake.
The wide variety of wildlife, including green, little blue, and great blue herons, egrets, and anhinga, the sight of a bald eagle soaring overhead, and the sound or sighting of a gator as the sun sets in the making of memories, something very special. The entire area of Rotonda West is a designated bird sanctuary, and we have binoculars for your use to enjoy the views up close. We call our home “Living Salty Villa and Salt Life Villa.”
From the moment you drive up, you are immediately taken in by the Key West-style architectural design and colorful tropical landscaping. Open the front door to an expansive great room with cathedral ceilings, formal dining, and a kitchen area, catching your eyes to the beautiful saltwater pool and water views! The home is furnished to the highest standards and comfort in mind, with gorgeous colors and tropical coastal decor. With a split floor plan (master bedroom on one side of the home and two guest bedrooms on opposite side)
“Salt Life Villa” has all-new furniture, bedding, and mattresses designed with great care to offer visitors a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The villa comprises a spacious and airy Great Room with cathedral ceilings and a cozy corner with swivel rockers where board games and reading matter can be found. The kitchen is well equipped for those who enjoy cooking, with a breakfast bar and swivel stools allowing integration with the great room. A breakfast nook with a glass table and iron chairs overlooks the pool and terrace. There are three bedrooms (one king, one queen, and one fitted with twin beds).
The master bathroom has a large walk-in shower, separate (his and her) marble vanity units, and a relaxing soak tub and walk-in closet. The second full bathroom a shower. The Great room and each bedroom have their own new smart digital televisions. Wireless High-Speed internet access is also provided. This tropical oasis offers accommodations for up to 6 guests in great comfort.
The Master and Queen Bedrooms have new Tempur-Pedic motion beds. These new mattresses help keep the body aligned and relieve pressure points so guests can enjoy a restful sleep. Laundry room with washer and dryer - All linens, towels, and pool towels are provided. All bathrooms have hair dryers. The 3-car garage (fitted with remote control door opener) has three bikes, beach chairs, picnic baskets, games, pool floats, umbrellas, and coolers - all for guests' use.
Salt Life Villa’s Private Pool, Lanai, & More: Full-wall sliding glass patio doors give access to the lanai, where you will find a high-top table with three chairs and a full-size patio table with four padded chairs. We also have three loungers with side tables available for guests to use. A new propane GAS BBQ is on the paved terrace behind the home, where you can enjoy outdoor cooking.
Area Activities: There are so many great waterfront restaurants and bars with entertainment for everyone. Rent a boat and explore the intra-coastal waterways to Punta Gorda or north to Venice and Sarasota. Alternatively, charter a boat and skipper and sail out into the Gulf for the excitement of game fishing for marlin or tarpon. Rotonda is an excellent area for cycling, with its pioneer trail and a cycle path that stretches down to Boca Grande. We have three pedal bikes for you to use. Within the community are six magnificent golf courses, all open to the public, and over 30 courses within a 15-mile radius of Rotonda.
Tampa is the local international airport most often used by international guests, and other preferred local airports include Punta Gorda, Ft. Meyers, and Sarasota. Major attractions like Bush Gardens are a 1½h drive to the north, while Orlando (Disney World, Universal Studios, etc.), the Everglades, and Miami are all within reach (2h to 2½h).
Closer to home are Boca Grande Island (10 minutes), Englewood (12 Minutes), Port Charlotte (15mins), Venice & Punta Gorda (30mins), Sarasota (1h), and Fort Myers (1h), all with excellent beaches and an endless list of great restaurants and bars to experience. A short 35-minute drive to Venice, Florida, you can enjoy some of the best shopping in Florida.
