Summary: Stay was amazing, except VRBO wouldn’t pay my host, so I had to come up with cash for him. My reservation was made in Nov 2022 and I paid in full $516. When we arrived in January 2033 VRBO wouldn’t pay host, not my problem, right? VRBO has since issued me a credit for $369. I paid host $490, when vrbo wouldn’t pay him. I’m out the $147. This sounds like a breach of contract and I shouldn’t be out any amount at all. I would never use VRBO again. Can I just get the balance back please? I have done nothing wrong but was inconvenienced by having to pay host in cash and then not receiving full refund from VRBO. Our hosts were warm and welcoming. Property is beautiful. VRBO is bullying me.
