Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We booked this hotel as a transition stop on the basis that it was at Cairo Airport, marked on the map as next to the Radisson. It is not!!! We waited an hour for the shuttle driver to find us and who then drove us nearly an hour to a back street hotel in Giza. Thankfully, the traffic was not too bad, it could have been much longer. By then having to make an earlier start to catch our morningflight out, it became a much shorter sleep, missing the included breakfast that didn't start until 8am. When we arrived he tried to add the Booking.com commission to the price, which we refused to pay, then 5% for paying with card - unimpressed! On a more positive note, it was clean, quiet, the beds comfortable and the shuttle really was free.

Negative: We were deceived, it's not a great feeling but, sadly, a common experience in Cairo.

Summary: Beware! This is not a Cairo Airport hotel
