Summary: It’s a pretty worn out hotel that is in the process of getting cleaned up. The bathroom has new floor tile and countertops, but old crusty faucets and shower insert. It’s like they are spending money and effort, but not doing the important stuff. The furniture is old, but the mattress was comfortable. We stayed there while watching the regional car rally race, so we only slept there. The breakfast was okay - basic egg scramble, sausage, waffle maker and some other packaged basics. The coffee is weird, like super black color, but tastes okay. We thought it was instant coffee, it was a topic of driving convo. If you don’t expect a lot, you will be okay. For us, we were just in Paris last week, where a similar priced hotel room was killer and had amazing pastries. Welcome back to mediocre America for hotels!
