Summary: Midweek stay to visit the San Diego zoo, Safari & beaches. Hotel check in was fast and efficient. 2nd floor room facing the pool w/ great view. You have to use room key for all gates/doors and ice machine on the property (we felt safe). Took stairs everytime because we never found the elevator (good exercise). Basic continental breakfast w/ make your own waffles. Room was clean. Bed was comfy, take your own pillows if you want more comfort, theirs are ok. Bathroom/shower is privately seperated from sink & mirror which was very convenient. TV, fridge & microwave worked great! We didn't use coffee maker but was there if needed. Overall great stay with so much to see & do close by.
