Summary: From the time we drove in the driveway, I actually had this feeling again (because I thought it may be when I first saw the holiday house on line)…the feeling of when I was a child, and my parents would take us to visit their friends there…and....it actually was owned years ago by them as I discovered by talking to the lovely lady next door. We walked in the door and I felt comfortable…clean, bright, simple layout & very stylishly decorated, with personal touches by the owners. The view is just brilliant overlooking the waters from Long Beach across to Maloney’s Beach, and over into the Bays!!!! Had to make some lunch and sit out there to admire & absorb it before we finished unpacking….couldn’t wait, lol. Easy access to the beaches all the way along the headland…….we found quite a few stairways down to them with easy decent, but a nice little work out for the trip up, lol. Better then going the long way around, and didn’t need the car to do it. The opposite side of the house was great when wet weather kicked in, with some shelter and outdoor furniture to take residence in. The kitchen well set up! I loved the idea of having a separate television room away from the main lounge area that overlooked the water…..keeps the ambience present!!! My host, Jude, for the accommodation, was great from the time I applied for the house to the time I left with easy communication. Thank you to her!!! A BIG THANK YOU to the owners for inviting my son & I into their holiday home!!
