Located in a quiet, quaint, cul-de-sac. Spacious open floor plan with lots of natural light and view of the lake from almost every room.
This home is not directly on the water but is perfectly situated on a peaceful overlook in close proximity with a nice, enjoyable lake view. It is a perfect spot for a nice glass of wine, watch the sunset, wish upon stars, gaze at the moon and create memories with those you love.
So much to do here at Lake Arrowhead. The pearl, a 540-acre lake surrounded by mountains, pristine wilderness and more than 14 miles of walking and hiking trails, along with championship golf course. With over 20 miles of magnificent shoreline, Lake Arrowhead’s crystal-clear waters boast depths over 80 feet and always remains at a constant level. Being ranked as one of the cleanest lakes in the state, this stream-fed lake is ideal for boating, fishing, swimming, as well as picnicking at the Marina’s Lakeside Park. The 18-hole championship Highlands Golf Course is considered one of the best golf courses in Georgia and the food at the Highland's Grill is amazing. All this and more awaits you!!! This house is nicely furnished and comes with one king, two queen, one queen sleeper sofa and an upstairs loft ideal for kids or teens with two twin beds and a full size futon
IMPORTANT: Cherokee County has a very strict ordinance that allows no more than 6 overnight guests ages 11 years or older, 10 is the maximum number of guests when including children ages 10 and under.
The kitchen is fully equipped. Washer/Dryer. Wi-Fi. Two 70” LED TVs with Sonos sound bars in both upstairs living room and in downstairs entertainment den. We want our home to feel like home to you. A place where happy memories are created and lots of laughter to be shared.
THINGS TO KNOW FOR PLANNING YOUR TRIP ABOUT BOATING & SWIMMING & GOLF
BOATING: To preserve the lake, no outside boats are allowed. Boats are available for rent. Renting is super nice as it’s convenient and easy. No stressful trailering, loading, or unloading. When rented, you only pay for the hours you use, in addition, boats are fueled, clean, ready, and waiting. Boat rental requires advance reservations and are encouraged to be made prior to your stay. If you own a boat and would like to bring it to use on Lake Allatoona instead, that is permissible. Lake Allatoona’s Knox Bridge Boat Ramp is about 8 miles away. To learn more about Lake Allatoona and the Knox Bridge Boat Ramp, visit www.allatoonalake.org. Outside boats & RV’s require a Lake Arrowhead parking pass. If you would like to bring your own boat for use in one of the surrounding lakes, we will need to know in advance of your stay so we can obtain parking pass prior to your arrival. You pass will be provided to you upon check in at Lake Arrowhead’s South Gate entrance.
SWIMMING: Lake Arrowhead has two nice community pools. Both require pool passes. Let us know if you plan to use the pool prior to your stay so we can obtain a pool pass in advance to ensure it is ready at your arrival.
GOLF: The championship Highlands Course is open daily for play and is considered one of the best golf courses in Georgia. It was named the ‘Best Golf Course in Cherokee County in 2010’ by Cherokee Life Magazine. The Highlands Course measures over 7,100 yards from the tips and features full-service practice facilities including a driving range and chipping and putting greens. HOUSE RULES
1. NO MORE THAN 10 TOTAL PEOPLE (including children) at house at any time with a restriction to 6 adults per Cherokee County Ordinance. Only those included in the reservation are permitted.
2. NO STREET PARKING - No more than 4 cars in the driveway and no parking in the street or in any neighboring yard. Additional parking is available in the Great Festival Park lot which is a half mile from property. To get to Great Festival Park from lake house, exit right onto Lake Arrowhead Drive. Great Festival Park is located a short distance down on the left.
3. NO LITTERING – Please do not leave trash at the lake or dispose of cigarette butts on the ground.
4. QUIET ENJOYMENT – Be sure to keep noise to a minimum so we don’t disturb the neighbors. No loud music at any time. Large group parties are NOT allowed at the house.
5. QUIET HOURS – No outdoor noise from 10:00 PM-9:00 AM is strictly enforced.
6. NO PETS – No pets or animals of any kind are allowed. NO EXCEPTIONS. Some people are extremely sensitive to pet dander. We make special effort to keep the house clean and as allergen free as possible.
7. NO SMOKING – The house is a smoke free zone. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you or someone in your reservation must smoke outside, we beg you to extinguish and dispose of all cigarette butts in the trash and not on the grounds or in the lake.
8. NO PARTIES – This is not a party house. Lake Arrowhead is an easy going, relaxing, family centered development.
IMPORTANT: If any member or guest of the reservation party violates rules 6 or 7, a $250.00 decontamination fee will be charged to the reservation.
