Positive: We stayed here as a family for my daughter's wedding which took place at nearby Minnehaha Falls. The home was beautiful and comfortable! The property was amazing! We enjoyed sitting out by the Tallulah River relaxing and enjoying the beauty and peacefulness. We took lots of wonderful photos! We enjoyed the hot tub and the main bathroom had a great shower and copper tub. We saw a couple of deer, ducks and a possum! It was very close to Tallulah Gorge and Clayton so that was also very convenient but we still felt like we were out in nature because of the large property and river. The outdoor cooking and dining set up was great as well. Overall this was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed and we were all extremely happy that we chose this rental for our special trip.
Negative: The driveway was the only tricky park of our stay. We are not used to steep driveways and it was hard with our vehicles and lack of familiarity driving in these conditions to get in and out, especially turning in off of a busy main road. Most driveways are steep in this area. It's just something to be aware of. This one probably isn't the worst in the area just something we aren't used to. You could also hear traffic at times and there is a home across from the river and a cabin that you can see and a few campers you can't really see, so it isn't completely secluded if that's what you are looking for but it worked out fine for us and we enjoyed our stay and still felt like we were in the great outdoors. The main bathroom was fabulous! But the other two were shared bathrooms so that may be an issue if you have a large group. We were a group of six so it didn't end up being a big issue for us. (And just a note the indoor stove/oven is electric which we also aren't used to but there is an outdoor gas grill for cooking.)
