This marvellous cottage is the perfect base for families and friends who wish to spend time together in a charming corner of Cumbria. With wonderful styling and furnishings throughout, this cottage has a superb first floor kitchen and dining area. Also on the first floor is a bright and contemporary sitting room with gas fire and a patio door which opens out on to a large sunny terrace, where you can relax with a drink and admire the forever changing views across the bay. On the second floor are three bedrooms, including a master super king-size double room with en-suite shower room, as well as a family bathroom, and on the ground floor is a cloakroom with basin and WC. Attached to this holiday home is a garage with laundry facilities and bike storage, and after a busy day exploring the area on foot or by bike, why not return and enjoy spending time in the rear, enclosed, terraced garden? Being so close to the branch railway line its a shame not to hop on board and take a journey across the bay to the lovely seaside village of Arnside. Alternatively, drive the few miles to Cartmel in order to browse the charming shops, or you may wish to dine out in style at the famous LEnclume restaurant. Younger guests will love the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Steam Railway which links in with the Windermere Steamers that take you up Lake Windermere to the bustling towns of Bowness and Ambleside in the beautiful Lake District National Park.
