The Goat House is situated at the edge of Cardinham Woods in the Cornwall. Down a little lane you will find tucked away our little cottage, perfect for couples who crave quiet, want to rest, chill, do a bit of walking and possibly wildlife spotting. The cottage is stylishy decorated and well-equipped with all the latest mod-cons including a fitted kitchen, a Smart 44" TV, microwave, fridge, cooker, etc. There's superfast Wi-Fi throughout the cottage, free of course, and USB charging ports everywhere... The bed has an amazingly comfy mattress from Brooke & Wild (we have had guests wanting to know where to buy one themselves!), with super plump pillows and duvet - hypo-allergenic of course.
Outside the cottage you will find your very own private deck area overlooking 'Bunny's Hill' (which is amazing for spotting foxes, deer, rabbits, woodpeckers...) The area has a gate so dogs can be free. The deck has a lovely wooden arbour, table and chairs with umbrella and cushions, stylish planting, gorgeous lighting and a Weber barbecue (with a starter pack of charcoal provided on your arrival).
The cottage is only 8 minutes' drive from Bodmin where you will find the renowned Bodmin Jail, a steam railway, loads of shops and restaurants with everything you need. Bodmin Parkway is 4 miles away which is on the main train line from London Paddington to Penzance. Lanhydrock National Trust is a few minutes' drive away as well, making it the perfect place to visit. Within Cardinham Woods there are over 650 acres of woodland to explore - PLUS the infamous Bodmin Beast mountain bike trail is literally 5 minutes away from the cottage! Within the woods there is also a lovely cafe and even an old Cornish mine to explore!
