Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The host is very friendly and gave us a very warm welcome. They even had some beverages, snacks and some typical mallorquinischen pastries waiting for us. Also she explained everything very well and showed us around. The house is spacious, well equipped and clean. As mentioned in the house description. From the two huge balconies you can watch the most amazing sunrise. Gorgeous and a huge plus! The garden is nice and there is enough space to hang out, eat outside in the sun or shade and enjoy the ocean sound. In walking distance there is beautiful restaurant right at the seafront. Very delicious and lovely to have lunch or dinner.

Negative: Very unfortunate but very necessary to know: 1) The house has direct access to the ocean but there is a huge, huge amount of seaweed on the beach so you can barely make the way to the water. And this was not only from one season. It is so much that and very smelly also. So if you are looking for a house at the beach and you actually want to go swimming there, you should pick another place. Nothing the owner could do much about but people should know. We also were a bit disappointed. 2) Another thing that needs to be mentioned. We had one day of really intense rain and the rains came dripping down on various spots in the living room. Dripping on the couch and pouring down the walls. We put up buckets etc., made videos, dried everything with towels etc. and reached out to the owner a couple of times. We never got a single reply. Not that she could've done anything. But no reply at all was a bit sad to be honest. This was just ONE day of rain - I don't know what we would've done if there was a few more days of rain. Which can easily happen. Also this happened before as we could tell from the marks on the walls. 3) The room on the second floor has the. most beautiful view but also it gets not only super hot up there, it also smells a bit of humidity. Not unbearable but also I think people should know. All other rooms are absolutely lovely (2 on 1st floor and 1 on ground floor, this one we did not use.) Altogether we had a lovely time and made the most of it. But I think we might have picked another place given 1) and 2).

Summary: Nice but no usable beach.
