Peaceful views of Wayton Mountain, deer and other wildlife are frequently seen. Just minutes from the Buffalo River. Just 2 miles from the Little Buffalo river and 7 miles from Jasper. Come relax at Bertie’s Nest. Come explore the back roads of Newton county, bring your atv or utv. We have a new pond that is next to the house hopefully it will get full before 2022 we are going to stock it with fish.

Summary: We loved our time at Bertie's Nest! The view off of the back deck was amazing at this time of year when everything was so green and lush. Loved seeing the ribbons of fog on the hillside and the amazing stars at night! We saw the family of deer at the back of the property as well as the osprey who made daily visits to the pond. The house itself was nicely decorated and had everything we needed! There were a total of 3 bathrooms, which was very handy, even though there was just the two of us! Will definitely return!!! Lovely, secluded piece of Heaven!
