Summary: We enjoyed our stay however the standard is not 5*. The hotel IS nice and has good views, the room is beautiful too. The pool is smaller than it looks. The “let down” is the menus with hand written/edits, which would never happen in a 5* hotel, and the lack of gym. Also we asked for cappuccino at breakfast and were told this is additional cost, and one day the fresh fruit was “on request” rather than laid out for the buffet, which is weird and as I usually eat mainly fruit at breakfast making it all a bit awkward. Also no “nibbles” with drinks, again normally 5* hotels provide nuts or something with drinks. Overall fine, but not 5* so adjust expectations.
