Summary: The apartment (96, 2 bedroom) was very run down. Marks and dents on the walls, lots of stains on the carpet, the toilet flush was temperamental and completely stopped working by the last day of my stay. I understand that a lot of serviced apartments in Brisbane are in a similar poor maintenence state due to bad quality of building developments in the last 10 years. But at least the room should have been a bit more clean. There was dust on the bedside table and cigarette butts on the balcony floor when I arrived. The pool, gym and spa were closed for maintenance, which was not mentioned in the Hotel.com ad. I only saw that after making the booking (in fine print). The staff was attentive and kind when I complained about it and provided me with a kichen tea towel when I requested (as that wasn't in the standard cleaning pack).
