This beautiful romantic bright 3 room apartment in Sütjers Hüs in Toftum / Oldsum is looking forward to your visit. The apartment was newly renovated in 2015 and furnished with great attention to detail. On 60 sqm located on the ground floor of the open living-dining area with integrated kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, microwave, Nespresso machine and everything you need for cooking. The living room has a corner sofa, as well as a flat screen TV, Internet radio, reading corner and an in-house telephone. Also on the ground floor is a small bathroom with toilet, sink, walk-in shower, hair dryer, towel warmer and washing machine. Upstairs is the master bedroom with a double bed 1.60 x 2.00 m, a fitted wardrobe and a small reading area. The second bedroom has two single beds 0.90x2, 00 m with low entrance height and also a small built-in wardrobe. The house has underfloor heating. Bed linen and towels are provided upon arrival, but not included. A cozy terrace to the south invites you to linger. The apartment has a parking space directly at the house.
Oldsum auf Föhr is an artist village with a lively history. Seafaring, whaling and agriculture have shaped Oldsum. Several times a year, the Oldsumer tell a story journey through the village in front of original houses and in costume from the respective destinies of the former villagers. Oldsum offers a variety of small shops where pictures, music, pottery, craft supplies, cakes, jam and self-dyed wool are available for purchase. The landmark of Oldsum is the mill. It burned down about 200 years ago and was rebuilt in 1901. Since 1954 she is out of service. Oldsum is the ideal starting point for hikes and bike rides along the marsh, to the Vogelkoje, or along the dike to Dunsum (starting point for Watt walks to Amrum) and Utersum, where you can enjoy the beautiful sunset in the evening. Wyk is 10 km from Oldsum. There are many shops, cafes, restaurants and from Easter to October Sundays the fish market. In the Frisian village Nieblum there is a surf school for water sports. Two more surf schools are located on Wyker beach. A visit to the St. Johanneskirche in Nieblum, or called the Friesendom in our house, is worthwhile. The 12th century church and its beautiful cemetery tell of the early days of whalers and sailors. The golf course is 10 km from Oldsum. A visit to the various museums is also worthwhile.
