Summary: The reviews looked solid so I had high hopes for this place. The Pros... The location was excellent. Located on the riverwalk but just outside of the "main" area. A peaceful 5 minute walk north along the river and you are in all the action. The apartments are a nice size and have washer/dryer and a full kitchen. We didn't use the pool or the outdoor courtyard, but they were both nice additions to the property. The bed was pretty comfortable and the shower was large. The Cons... The parking garage was located on the other side of the property and we had to drag our luggage down three long hallways(at least a hundred yards each) to get to the garage elevator. The residents apparently use a garbage service that picks up their trash in the hallways. As your can imagine in the Texas heat, the hallways smelled like a garbage truck. There was also an area outside on the property that you had to walk through to get to the Riverwalk that smelled like urine. Not sure if it was pets or humans, but you can also imagine how that smells in the Texas heat. The rooms were kind of dark, but that could be a result of it being cloudy the entire trip. Lastly we hated that you have to use Chromecast to watch any type of television and there was no TV in the bedroom. Overall I would say it's an average hotel stay.
