I have a professional cleaner thoroughly clean the space after each guest leaves, from top to bottom every surface and all of the linens and bedding.
Our guest home is very large, with a living room, dining/sitting room, kitchen, and two separate bedrooms with queen size beds. The bathroom is very spacious, with two sinks and a large walk in shower with two shower heads. You have your own washer and dryer for your convenience. There are gorgeous views from each window. The patio decking outside is your own private space to sit and relax. Wifi access is provided.
The home is situated on our 88 acre private ranch, sitting atop Mt. Rush No More, which means just that..... If you are looking for a private, quiet place to relax and enjoy nature, without being too far from civilization, this is the place for you.
You will love the close proximity to public trails for hiking/running/riding/biking, swimming in the nearby river, to name a few. Within 20 minutes you can be at several wineries, shopping in the nearby town of Georgetown, Auburn, and Placerville. Some of the best white-water rafting, swimming, and tubing are located in the nearby gold rush town of Coloma. For those that love to 4x4, the Rubicon is located on the way to our place. If you are an endurance athlete or fan, you will love this place, rightly named "endurance capitol of the world." Some of the biggest endurance events in the world are located in our backyard.
There is no public transportation to the home. The nearest airport is Sacramento International Airport, approximately 50 minutes away. It is recommended you rent a car to get around. We are within 1 hour of Truckee, and 1.5 hours to Lake Tahoe area. The nearest town is approximately 6 miles away in Georgetown. It has a grocery store, restaurants, fuel, and a bank.
Some important things to know about our location: We have four seasons, so it can get cold in the winter time, with the rare dusting of snow, in the summer time it can get in the 90s so be prepared for the heat. We recommend you bring your paddle board, kayak, or go to the nearby rental in Auburn and hit the nearby lakes and make the most of the excellent weather we have. Additionally, we have ticks in the thick areas of the woods, and the nearby recreational areas have poison oak so be prepared and dress appropriately on the trails.
