As the saying goes, "Memories are Made at THE LAKE", and your family and friends will certainly experience a vacation to remember here at 261 Shell Bay Circle! This home was set-up to provide for an awesome family getaway with amenities for everyone from board games for the kids to the sauna for the adults.
Located directly on the 29 mile marker of the Lake's main channel in Linn Creek, the home is central to the attractions of both Osage Beach and Camdenton. Big Surf Waterpark and Seven Springs Winery are just a few miles away and other attractions such as Ha Ha Tonka State Park, Bridal Cave, various Golf Courses, Margaritaville's Landshark Restaurant and Bar, Redhead Lakeside Grill, Grocery stores and popular shopping spots are within a 10 to 20 minute drive.
Our photographer did a fantastic job capturing the homeowner's attention to detail and all of the amenities the home offers. Inside, the house offers 4 Bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on the main level along with the star-gazers lookout complete with two high-powered telescopes for your use! The Lakeside Bedrooms have King Beds and direct access to the private upper-decks. The other two bedrooms offer comfortable Queen Beds. A Queen Sized Air Mattress provides for an additional sleeping accommodation. Altogether, the home sleeps 8 to 10 comfortably. The main level provides nice privacy when you're ready to relax or wind-down whether inside or out on the upper decks.
The lower level serves as the gathering area. The kitchen is open to the living area and the dining room is wrapped with windows that look out over the Lake. Our guests enjoy card and board games here as well as enjoying meals together. The kitchen is well-equipped and the gas grill is located out on the deck.
The living area includes a seating area around the TV and our guests also have free access to wi-fi internet service. The pool table naturally brings out the competitors in the group who want to wager for bragging rights. The 3rd full bath is on the lower level along with the laundry room.
The best part??? Outdoor Lake Living is where it's at! You'll definitely be drawn outside to the massive lakeside deck built above the lake below! Plan on spending the afternoons on the deck watching the steady flow of boats passing by. Later in the day, we recommend a BBQ and enjoying the sunset. The Northern exposure provides for late afternoon shade. At night, stars fill the sky like you won't believe!
The water here on the main channel can get rough from frequent boat traffic so we do not recommend the boat dock for parking a boat any length of time. Pulling up to pick-up and drop-off can be done at the Captain's discretion. You are, however encouraged to utilize the dock for lake swimming and fishing when the Lake is calmer - during the week or during lower traffic periods of the weekend. We will be happy to refer you to boat and personal watercraft rental operations!
