Stunning secluded villa just an 8 minutes drive to the busy beachfront of the Arenal.
This villa benefits from air conditioning in all 3 bedrooms and lounge dining room. The open plan kitchen allows easy access to the 8 x 4 swimming pool and garden area, which is perfect for relaxing in the south facing garden. For dining alfresco there is a large table located perfectly next to the BBQ and offers perfect shade from the Mediterranean sun. The master bedroom is spacious and has an en suite shower room. The two twin bedrooms share the family bathroom.
There is parking comfortably for two cars in the drive way, but as the villa is located in a quiet cul-de-sac parking in the street is also possible.

Summary: House is as advertised, comfortable, kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils and dishes. We could not use the outside bbq during our stay due to ban on fires, wish we knew this beforehand as the bbq was one of the main reasons we chose the property. As per other reviews, lots of mosquitoes and ants, and although we thought we were prepared, it is much worse than we thought. Bread in bread bin was total write off due to ants, so ended up keeping all food in fridge. Evenings outside was also not possible due to mosquitoes feasting on us - even when we were covered in bug spray. Check in was very stressful as property manager did not use the VRBO platform, apparently sending emails that i have not received , resulting in phone call that I found quite aggressive as I was accused of not answering the emails. Be aware there is no secure lockbox for keys and that a person will be waiting for you at the property for check in. You will also be expected to phone the property manager upon arrival, so endure that you have mobile data available. If you like the personal touch, then no problem, but if you would not rather have to deal with people (as I was), then it is very stressful indeed.
