1 Bedroom Condo in Makaha, Waianae
Are you a digital nomad? Retired? Avid golfers? Relocating to Hawaii and need a place to live while you look for permanent housing? This is the place for you. All you need to do is pay the rent and you're good to go. No electricity bill. No water bill. No cable or internet bills. No parking fee other than a refundable deposit for the pass. Just unpack, relax and enjoy Oahu’s beautiful West side for far less than you would pay at the resorts in Ko Olina or the hotels in Kapolei.
We offer a wonderful, impeccably clean studio that overlooks the world-famous Makaha Beach just a mile down the hill. Makaha Valley Towers is a gated, high-rise community with 24/7 security. The view of the turquoise Pacific Ocean and of the verdant Waianae Mountains from the lanai is quite simply amazing.
Inside you'll find a comfortable queen-sized bed, and a fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops, a full-sized stainless steel fridge and a glass-top range. We also provide a coffee maker, microwave, rice cooker, blender, food processor and most other utensils you will need to make delicious meals, drinks and snacks.
In addition, there is a bar-height table and stools, a 42-inch smart TV with Spectrum cable, a plush sofa, unlimited free 1,000-mbps wi-fi service and soothing central A/C. There are chairs and a drinks-and-pupu table out on the lanai, all the better to watch the show the sun puts on for free.
The bathroom and step-in shower are meticulously maintained. Bath and beach towels are nice and soft.
Shared washers and dryers on our floor.
The grounds feature soothing landscaping, leading to a pristine salt-water pool surrounded by a stone deck with umbrella-shaded tables and chaise lounges.
Near the pool is an excellent barbecue and picnic area with six clean, well-kept gas grills and ample picnic tables to enjoy outdoor dining. The ambiance is wonderful when the tiki torches are lit just prior to sunset.
HEADED TO THE BEACH
If you like the beach, we provide chairs for that along with an umbrella, coolers and ice packs. West-side beaches are the best on Oahu, less crowded than virtually anywhere else on the island. One mile from our condo, Makaha Beach is just the beginning. World-class surfers and locals alike call these waves home. When the surf is up, this beach is no place for amateurs. When it's flat, this is a nice place to swim and have some fun.
Spectacular, uncrowded Makua Beach is just minutes away. The gorgeous, sandy beach runs for hundreds of yards. This is a popular spot for photo shoots and engagements. The setting is breathtaking. Beyond the beach, of course, is the sparkling turquoise Pacific Ocean where you may see curious green sea turtles or playful dolphins frolicking.
Farther west is Yokohama Bay and its wonderful half-mile stretch of white sand. At the end of the road is the hiking trail to Kaena Point where you'll see waves crashing along the rocky inlets and perhaps nesting albatross.
To the east, right in Waianae, Pokai Bay Beach Park features a clean, protected bay perfectly suited for swimming and sunning.
And because this is the West side, all of these beaches are fantastic for watching a gloriously unmatched sunset that you won't find anywhere else in the world.
About 25 minutes east is Ko Olina resort where you will find four protected lagoons with nice, sandy beaches.
PLAYING A ROUND ... OR TWO
Makaha Valley Country Club is a hidden gem of a course and it's just a mile from our complex.
