Lakefront living at it's best! Sweeping views of Lake Erie and Beach Access on a private drive!! Full time rental that is designed to accommodate travelers!
Five bedrooms + 2 rooms that can be converted to private sleeping space, four full bathrooms including 2 bathtubs, sleeps 15 comfortably with 5 Queens, 2 Twin XL, twin bunk bed, single twin, and two pull out queen couches. Rest easy with new mattresses and furniture in 2022!
Two Master suites are on the main floor with attached full bathrooms. Bedroom three is on the main floor and a full bathroom services the living area. There are two bedrooms upstairs sharing a full bathroom and a loft type area with a Twin XL and 55" TV w/ Nintendo Wii. This room has a blackout curtain that can be drawn and used as a bedroom. All four showerheads are new and have great water pressure. The main floor boasts two separate living rooms, sunroom that can be converted for sleeping with blackout curtains, a second kitchenette, and pool table. This home is clean and well maintained. Great views from inside and outside the home.
The Large kitchen is fully stocked and second kitchenette is adequately stocked, both with newish appliances and Keurig machines. Living and relaxing areas flow together and offer comfortable cooking and socializing at the same time. Large front porch with outdoor furniture, gas grill BBQ on the side porch, large firepit with benches that convert to picnic tables, and back deck off the sunroom offers fabulous sunset views. There is a full laundry in the basement and a compact stackable in one of the master suites. There are several large screen TV's with Roku that has spectrum channel guide and other apps. Complimentary high speed internet password is located onsite. There is plenty of accessories and games to be found on property, such as pool table, foosball, corn hole, air hockey, record player, Nintendo Wii, yardzee, soccerball, football, squirt guns, beach wagon/chairs/towels, plus more.
Access to the waters edge is along the property line to the west. It is a 10+ foot wide maintained path about 150 ft. long. While it's a gradual path that adult and children can manage easily, those with mobility limitations may not be as comfortable with the final few feet. Local beaches within 1 mile offer a range of extended access to the beach and even waters edge. Please reference the pictures and contact the host with any questions related to the beach access path. Year round sunsets, 180 degree view of the lake from the yard and back deck, frequent sightings of bald eagles and access to the waters edge make this an ideal location for new memories. The host is as accommodating as possible and would love to answer your questions!
Parking: There is plenty of space to fit several cars and truck/trailer combinations in the driveway. There is additional driveway space on location upon request. Please do not park on the road, yard, or adjacent empty lot.
Activities: If relaxing and sunsets are what your looking forward too then settle right in and enjoy your stay! Within a couple miles you'll find public beaches, fishing streams, golf, shopping, a marina, wineries, cycling, church and many other amenities that charming North East has to offer. There is now a fish cleaning station at the North East Marina only 1 mile away.
Safety: There are first aid kits, fire extinguishers, fire, CO2, and Gas sensors throughout the house and premium rope ladders in both upstairs closets.
Within 20 miles you'll find Erie Bayfront, Dobbins Landing, larger boat launches, disc golf, horseback riding. Peak n' Peak offers high adventure ropes course, mountain biking, zip line and a decent size Ski Resort. They also have a championship golf course that is usually in pristine condition. There's also snowmobile trails nearby, cross country skiing and ice fishing!
About 35 minutes away is Presque Isle State Park, Waldameer Amusement and Water Park, and Lake Erie State Park, NY. I'll be happy to help guide you to any of these activities and more. Fantastic location that offers lots to do in the area!
Boats: The property can accommodate but does not provide kayaks, canoes, small boats on trailers, etc. You may NOT launch a trailered boat onsite. You may launch hand carried boats down the maintained path about 200ft to the beach. There is a marina a mile or so to the East for trailered boats. The marina has a brand new fish cleaning room outdoors. You may NOT clean and dispose of fish onsite. Please inquire at the North East Marina about keeping your boat overnight. There is also a nice bay and launch points in downtown Erie. This is a beautiful area and worth your research at Dobbins Landing.
