Just a few blocks from Seabright Beach, the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor and some of the best local restaurants and breweries in town. The home boasts a well-furnished rooftop deck, a beautiful open floor plan, and a fully equipped kitchen. This house is cozy, bright, and inviting. You will surely love your stay here!
The space
**ATTENTION!** Per Santa Cruz City law, we are required as Airbnb hosts to collect the Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) SEPARATELY from your Airbnb transaction. The TOT is 14% of the entire booking (before Airbnb fees). To make the process easier we will send you a request for the tax through the Airbnb resolution when we send check-in information. If you prefer, we can collect this in cash or check upon check-in or checkout.**
This house is truly the best combination of location, comfort, and style. The home is small but open and bright. Decorated with white painted walls, white bedding and earthy accents, the home feels light, minimal and cozy. One bedroom offers a comfortable queen bed with pillowtop mattress while the other bedroom has two twin beds to allow versatile sleeping arrangements. All bedding is a mix of 100% cotton and organic bedding.
The kitchen is open to the living area with a large countertop and bar seating so guests can cook and socialize simultaneously. The kitchen offers all the basic amenities including cookware, bakeware, microwave, coffee maker, spices, olive oil, and a spacious refrigerator.
One of the best features of the home is the large rooftop deck with views of the neighborhood. On a sunny day the deck is ideal for a BBQ dinner or cocktails. It's fully furnished with a dining table, sectional sofa and umbrellas. It's the perfect place to relax after a long day at the beach or Boardwalk.
Please note that we are in the process of updating some furniture, bedding and appliances. These item updates will be complete in June and we will change the photos as soon the new items are in place. If you are visiting in the summer the décor may look slightly different than currently pictured. We are so excited for the fresh improvements!
Guest access
The house is located in a residential neighborhood with plenty of on-street parking. Because this is an ideal location to park and walk to the Boardwalk, parking permits are required (host provides 2 permits) during summer months. This keeps parking available to residents and guests only. The general area allows for easy access to most destinations by car or by foot. We recommend walking to the Boardwalk directly from the property as opposed to driving.
