Enjoy this family operated vacation spot on East Moore Lake. The family have cottaged on East Moore Lake and in the Haliburton area for many generations.
Sunset Ridge is roughly a 700 square foot cottage right on the ridge of a hill that overlooks East Moore Lake. This spectacular little cottage has a big view to take in with 180-degrees to enjoy the great outdoors.
One of the more beautiful times of the day is the evening here at Sunset Ridge. You will see a breathtaking sunset in just about every room of the cottage.

BBQ – there are 2 propane tanks at the cottage, if one runs out, it is the renter’s responsibility to have it refilled or exchanged at earliest opportunity
Child/elderly friendly – elevated cottage with steps down to the lake
Waterfront: 100ft
Great swimming – clear deep water right off the dock
Rocky shoreline – able to walk in – bottom is a little silty
The dock extends out and the water is deep enough to jump in – water is approximately 8 feet at the end of the dock – has a ladder for exiting
Some weeds but water is deep enough around the dock, so they aren’t noticeable – water shoes not required
Large dock
Dock is large enough to hold an 18’ – 21” bowrider/pleasure/ski type boat or possibly larger with buoys and dock cleats for easy tying up
The lake is good for motorboats, water skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking etc.

2 decks – one at the back of the cottage and one that overlooks the lake
Privacy – only one neighbor on the left side
