Positive: The cottage was comfortable and so much more spacious than we were expecting - there were spaces for members of a larger family to spread out or come together socially. The cottage was absolutely spotless and the kitchen was very well equipped - enough plates and cutlery to use even when the dishwasher was loaded up. My children adored the garden and alpacas. We found the atmosphere so serene and relaxing and 5 mins after arriving we were already planning our next trip. We enjoyed Carne beach nearby and the children loved the playground too - both just a 2 mins drive away. We did a trip to Saltee Island from Kilmore Quay and would recommend that also. We will definitely return and I would highly recommend this cottage.

Negative: Nothing to complain about, we loved our stay! Just a little warning that there can be a lot of midges around at night so we couldn't open the bedroom windows when it was hot as many would come in drawn to the light - maybe having a repellent spray or plug or something might help.

Summary: Beautiful location and gardens, comfortable and clean property!
