About Tawas Lake,it is not a swimming lake however it is located on the north end of the City of East Tawas, is one of the areas hot spots for panfish and pike fishing. It is also a favorite among area duck and geese hunters as well. And with a mix of ducks, geese and swans, with an occasional bald eagle sighting thrown in, Tawas Lake is very popular with local bird and wildlife enthusiasts as well. A DNR launch ramp for small boats is located on the south shore of the lake off of Rainbow Drive for larger boats but small fishing boat can be launched right from the property itself. Wood stove in photo is not for guests use, you will have ample electric heat. Lake is so pretty to watch no matter what the season, enjoy the wildlife it brings Property is also close to public beach only 3 miles away. Great spot for families to come enjoy bring your bike to go to town. Plus it is Pet friendly!
