Looking for a big house in the countryside, with many things to see nearby? Look no further because the location of the Palais Breton is optimal.
The Breton Palace is located in a hamlet in the village of Plerguer, which straddles the Emerald Coast and the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel. Located in Ille-et-Vilaine, this large cottage is close to the Rance Valley and 10 minutes from the department of Côtes d'Armor.
Brittany North is a beautiful region of France to discover. And our cottage 4 ears in the middle of the fields promises you an exotic holiday.
This Gite de France is still near the main roads, which will allow you to project quickly. You will be 20 minutes from Dinan, Cancale, Combourg and Dinard. Mont Saint-Michel and Saint-Malo are 30 minutes away and Rennes, the capital of Brittany, 40 minutes. The cliffs of Cap Fréhel are just an hour away.

KITCHEN & LIVING ROOM
Our furnished 4-star tourist benefit from a fully equipped kitchen and two lounges.
Each of these three rooms has been given a nice atmosphere.
- Kitchen with open fire
The kitchen is equipped with a large table for 10 people and a large open fire. The stone chimney makes it possible to make a fire. Thanks to the large cast iron grill, indoor barbecue is also possible.
In addition, our Breton cottage has two lounges:
- The Ground Floor Lounge
In this room, you will find a large fireplace made of French stone, as well as a pellet stove. Then we offer a TV with 100 channels, a NES retrogaming console and a DVD player. Finally, we leave at your disposal the complete series Kaamelott.
A glass table is waiting for his next card games. A teak bench and a former marine secretary finish dressing the room.
- The Belgian Salon
The Belgian Salon gets its name from the enamelled plates hung on the wall. From Expo 58 to Orval beer, the symbols of Belgium are ubiquitous in this play room. This is the wink that we have made to the Flat country which is ours.
In this room, we installed a Brunswick billiard table and a Stella table football (in the colors of France-Belgium). We also put an electronic dart game. Finally, we are proud to offer you a nice collection of board games.
A reading corner will allow you to enjoy our library of books and comics on Brittany. And this to the sound of the music of the Interceltic Festivals of Lorient.
BEDROOMS
The Breton Palace is a large cottage with 5 bedrooms that can accommodate a total of 10 people: 2 people on the ground floor, 4 people on the first floor and 4 people on the second floor.
The rooms have been named in reference to the cities to visit in Northern Brittany. Let's start the tour on the ground floor:
- The House "Mont-Saint-Michel"
Equipment: double bed (160 × 200), chest of drawers and wardrobe.
On the first floor you will find two bedrooms:
- The "Dinard" Room
Equipment: double bed (160 × 200), wardrobe, balneo shower, 2 sinks, WC, hairdryer and TV with TNT.
DTT (Digital Terrestrial Television) gives access to nearly 30 channels.
- The "Saint Malo" Room
Equipment: double bed (160 × 200), double sofa bed, chest of drawers, dressing room, shower, sink, toilet, hairdryer and television with TNT.
On the second floor there are two more bedrooms:
- The "Dinan" Room
Equipment: two single beds (90 × 200), armchair and wardrobe. Both beds can be assembled on request.
- The House "Rennes"
Equipment: two single beds (90 × 200) and chest of drawers. Both beds can be assembled on request.
Each of the 5 rooms overlooking the garden, facing South.
- Shower room & laundry room
A shower room (with sink and toilet) serves the rooms "Mont-Saint-Michel", "Dinan" and "Rennes". This one is on the ground floor.
A laundry room is next to this shower room. The laundry room includes a washing machine, tumble dryer, drying rack, iron and ironing board.
GARDEN
Our big holiday home is not just inside: the garden is also worth a look.
The garden of 13 ares is facing South and without vis-à-vis in season.
This beautifully oriented garden is approximately 70 meters long and 20 meters wide. It is dotted with fruit trees (apple, plum, cherry, mirabellier, ...) lying in the prevailing winds from the west and surrounded by fields of corn or wheat.
We built a pool. This heated pool during the day is open from May to September. You will also be pleased to know that it is a private pool: you will not have to share it with other people. Ideal conditions to enjoy the full South sunshine.
The pool's beaches are exotic IPE class 1 wood. Outside bathing moments, the safety of children is ensured by the presence of a remote controlled shutter.
The dimensions of the pool are 10 meters long and 4 meters wide. The depth is 1 meter 50 everywhere (flat bottom). Perfect size for morning lengths or water games.
This is how we wanted the "Palais Breton": a place where it is good to live in summer and winter. With a cozy interior and an exotic exterior.
WEEKLY RATE IS:
- 1. 400 euros in April and November
- 1. 500 euros in May and October
- 1. 600 euros in June and September
- 1. 870 euros in July and August
- Rentals from 3 nights are also possible
This price includes charges, sheets, bath linen and wood (or pellets, depending on the season). On request, we also provide our korrigan kit (high chair, baby bath, changing mat and cot).
