Nestled among the trees, you’ll find yourself immersed in the full beauty and tranquility of Hocking Hills at The Chestnut from Chestnut Retreats. Located just minutes from the major state parks and attractions, the secluded yet central Chestnut is the perfect place to get away your way!
Upon entering you’ll be greeted with a large kitchen that is fully equipped and furnished with every cooking accessory to help you make those tasty memories during your stay. Sliding glass doors lead to a large and fully furnished back deck and propane grill. Stunning nature and lake views accompany a cozy surrounding perfect for spending time with those close to you!
In the living room you’ll be greeted with an open space equipped with large cathedral style windows perfect for nature watching from the comfort of the couch! A gas fireplace is equipped to add ambiance as well as take the chill off of those late evenings and early mornings. You’ll also notice a TV equipped with multiple streaming services including Netflix, HBOMax, Disney Plus, Hulu, and Amazon Music premium to use during your stay! We also offer retro video game emulators(SNES/SEGA) and a wide array of DVDs and board games!
Upstairs you’ll find the master suite with a small walk out deck perfect for a quite thought and a cup of coffee as you look out over the trees and lake!
At Chestnut Retreats we couldn't imagine life without our furry family. Thats why The Chestnut welcomes quiet, non-aggressive canine companions when arrangements are made at the time of reservation. The Chestnut limits the number of dogs to no more than two and size of your dog to no more than 75 lbs. All dog guests must be completely free of fleas and ticks, be well groomed and up to date on shots and vaccinations.
