Positive: Keyless entry, beautiful view, accommodations were great for 8. Table seated 8 with 3 more spaces at the bar. All appliances worked well. P,lenty of pots and pans to cook with. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. We spotted quite a few fish and one little roaming fox.
Negative: No pool or hot tub. Not cleaned well. Food and trash left on bedroom floor, an excess amount of dog hair, clumps of hair under the furniture, dust on the entertainment center. Some of this was probably unavoidable, but there were huge clumps of hair under the furniture. Every now and then the cleaners should do a deeper clean. The cleaning service could lose business for this home. Bathroom and kitchen were clean. Bedrooms and common space were extra hairy. We even had to wash one comforter that was coated in hair. It is pet friendly, so some hair is to be expected. We want it to stay pet friendly for future rental! Look under the couch. There were huge wads of hair. I took a video! It was offered to us for a cleaning service to come out and reclean; we declined. We were not THAT bothered, but someone else might be bothered enough that you would lose a customer. The detached laundry room was not convenient, but still nicely enclosed. If you had access to downstairs space by indoor stairs and a way to the laundry room that was completely enclosed from the elements, it would have added just a bit more of a spacious feeling.
Summary: It was a beautiful and memorable week.
