The Hideaway... A Mountainside Property Featuring Sweeping Lake & Mountain Views. This picturesque property is located 5 minutes from Ellacoya State Park (Beach) and 10 minutes from Gunstock Mountain (skiing), 12 Minutes to Mount Major State Park (Hiking w/View). Enjoy summer nights by the pool with skies so majestic they have to be experienced to truly comprehend. Watch the famous Winnipesaukee Mount Washington cruise by numerous times a day in the summer, along with phenomenal sunrises year round. Relax on the back deck or patio with plenty of space for a group to comfortably have their own space inside or out. Enjoy a gathering by the indoor or outdoor gas fireplace or enjoy a bonfire outside. In the summer months enjoy the salt water pool with an infinity edge, benches, sundeck, and jumping rock offer endless enjoyment. Pool is on a timer for lighting, setting a great scene in the summer, even after the sun goes down fireworks can often be seen over the lake. If you're lucky, you'll get to witness a thunderstorm in the summer from the house... it's very special and often followed by a rainbow, which would make you even luckier! If you like TV, and by that I mean netflix, we've got you covered. TV by the pool, TV in the lower level living space, in the formal living room, sunroom, as well as the Master + one of the other Bedrooms. Personally I never have time to watch TV or go anywhere when I am here because I am so busy enjoying the good times and the view. The house is set up perfectly for group gatherings. The second level has a Master Bedroom with a private en suite bathroom. Gorgeous custom stand up tile shower, jetted tub, private commode, and a double vanity. There is a laundry room next door to this bedroom with Brand New Samsung high efficiency washer and dryer. Next is a full bathroom with separate double sink vanity area from the shower and commode. This bathroom services the additional two bedrooms on the second level. One bedroom features the most spectacular view and a very comfy queen bed w/TV setup. The other bedroom on the second level has a double bed and a twin (a taken apart bunk bed actually). The main level features the fabulous modern kitchen with a charming rustic feel, the sunroom which is our favorite place to unwind, the dining area with spectacular views which is open to the formal living room with floor to ceiling stone fireplace (Gas, just press a button to turn on). There are also two bedrooms and a main bathroom on that main floor. The bathroom is technically considered a 3/4 as there is no tub, but there is a beautiful custom stand up shower and this bathroom is directly adjacent to the two bedrooms on that main level. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other hasa king bed with sliders right out to the deck and a captivating view. The lower level features a great hangout space with a sectional couch and a bunk bed behind a partial wall. There is also a full bathroom on that level and a kitchenettespace with fridge and sink, all very convenient when using the outdoor space. There is a propane grill outside on the lower level. There is also a TRX for working out and a treadmill. Other indoor features include a mini hoops game, app controlled whole house surround sound including exterior, 3 heating zones, and central AC. Lake Winnipesaukee and the lakes region in general offer an array of activities for all seasons. New Hampshire is famous for the beautiful fall season and the sweeping views of the foliage from this home take it to another level. The local farms often host hay rides, corn mazes, fresh cider donuts, and pumpkin picking. There is also plenty to do locally like mountain biking, hiking, leaf peeping, and apple picking. In the winter ice Fishing, ice skating, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, ice hockey tournaments, and snowshoeing are some of activities that can be found locally as well. In the spring and summer the local businesses start to open for the season and many out of town guests flock to the area for a variety of reasons but typically one common goal; enjoying the beauty that the state has to offer and this home is located in the heart of so much of that. Weirs beach has an arcade, bars, a boardwalk, and you can catch the Mount Washington for a cruise of the lake. Rent a boat locally or charter one. The lake has so much to offer in the summer!! Swimming, fishing, sailing, boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, water skiing, wake boarding, jet skiing, wake surfing, and tubing just to name a few. Plenty of sheets, blankets, pillows, towels for showers and swimming, and an on site washer/dryer with detergent and softener. You will want to bring your own food or stop on the way. There are Hannaford, Shaws, and Walmart supermarket are all 5 miles away and a great place to stock up for your stay. There is also a country store in the Ellacoya Barn & Grill (1/2 mile away) which is great if you forget an essential or want to grab a bite or some good takeout. We have a standard coffee pot that uses ground coffee and we always have a few sweetener options on hand. We also have a Nespresso machine that we provide a starter pack of pods for (takes the Vertuo style pods for reference). Plenty of pots and pans, cups, dishes, and silverware. Two standard size refrigerators (one in the lower level and one in the kitchen), a standard size gas 5 burner stove/oven that does have the option to have two temperature settings on the oven at the same time. Other appliances include a dishwasher, juicer, nutribullet, outdoor gas grill, air fryer and treadmill. We will also provide info on other great local food options at the house. This home truly feels like a secret resort that you will want to keep coming back to year after year!
