Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Rooms were recently refurbished so the standard was good. Free car park.
Negative: Very limited breakfast, only a cooked option with tea or coffee. No cereals, fruit, yogurts or even an orange juice. Lack of toilet roll! Despite numerous requests getting ONE roll for our room was unnecessarily difficult. No toiletries in the bathroom. There was litter on the stairs for the duration of our stay. Lack of cleaning in public areas. Ordered an evening meal and the waiter (youth in a hoodie) brought out our main course before the starter. When he brought the starters out, he just plonked it down on the table and said "I don't know which is which coz I don't know what they are".
Summary: Cheap and cheerful but take your own toilet roll.
