New construction home and new to VRBO. This spacious retreat in a natural setting along the Pungo River offers plenty of room to unwind and let the cares of the world drift away.
Relax in the gazebo and watch various boats coast along the Intra Coastal Waterway(ICW)! The house includes two spacious open-air porches for endless views of the sunsets and sunrises. Bald eagles, osprey, deer, turkeys, cormorants, herons and many songbirds are daily visitors, with occasional visits of dolphins and river otters.
Spend the day kayaking, fishing, or just resting in nature and enjoy the starry night sky from the pier and gazebo.
2 kayaks are available. The water is 3-4 feet deep at end of pier so no diving please! Pack your water shoes!
For other boat rental options Dowry Creek Marina is within walking distance and has a variety of rentals.
You have the entire home to yourself. The living room, kitchen, dining area and 3 bedroom suites(each with private bath) are upstairs.
KITCHEN: refrigerator, stove, small dishwasher, microwave, Keurig/drip coffee combination, toaster, blender, cooking and eating utensils, and basic spices.
DINING ROOM: Enjoy meals on the large dining table with wide water views, open to kitchen and living space.
LIVING SPACE: Relax in comfort as you catch up with friends and family overlooking the Pungo River or take in a good movie.
BEDROOMS: 3 queen-size beds, each bedroom has a private bath and shower. Linens provided.

*There is no WI-FI provided at the house. Mobile phones generally work ok and we have streamed movies using a phone hot spot.
Take a 1/2 mile walk to Dowry Creek's community restaurant (The Salty Crab) at the Dowry Creek Marina. The Marina also has a pool that you can purchase a day pass for separately. The Marina has a ships store with various provisions and also has boat slips available for rent.
To access the house, you will have to climb stairs, either inside or outside the home.
