Positive: It was spacious, loved the upstairs space and the outdoor sun bed. The downstairs outdoor space was great for breakfast. The fire was awesome. The kitchen had everything, even a big toasted sandwich maker. I love that it had a dishwasher. It was well stocked. We loved the record player, something novel. There are a lot of plates, glasses etc. so you can stack the dishwasher and not have to wash for the next meal. Being so close to the beach was fantastic. The explanations for everything were clear. It was great to have access to Netflix and Stan.
Negative: There was some mould on the blinds in the kitchen and roof in the main bedroom. The shower screen downstairs is not long enough for such a big shower head so the floor got wet. I was not happy about that the company lied to me about the reason for not getting a late checkout. I accept we didn't get one, though you usually get one for a Tuesday off peak, but to say it was booked out when it was still available on this site is not great. This unfortunately is not the fault of the owners but the company. A lot of light comes into the rooms in the morning as there are no blinds on the high windows.
Summary: Great location, a spacious well decked out house with some extra bonuses.
