What a vacation rental destination at the Lake of the Ozarks! The Proctor 55 2-story family-oriented home boasts all the get-away amenities one could wish for. The home was built in 2007 and offers 3,918 sq feet of luxury lake living. Located at the 55-mile marker of Mallard Bay and is within the Stover township – just off of Lake Road 135 and Proctor Road.
This is a custom-built home and you’ll know right away that you’ve made the right choice in a vacation rental property. The spacious entry is immediately welcoming. Bring in your luggage and start exploring the 2 levels of this beautiful home. As you will see, the vaulted living room has plenty of seating for entertaining and includes a stunning rock fireplace and flat screen TV for movie night. Every furnishing is perfectly positioned to overlook Proctor Cove either from inside or outside on the balcony patio.
Just to the left of the living room is the kitchen and dining area of the home. Beautiful cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and even a “hidden” walk-in pantry room (perfect place for hide-and-seekers). The area dining room is set up for 4, the breakfast bar can host 6 and there is a kitchen nook seating for another 4. That’s plenty of room for your gathering. Just off the kitchen nook is the powder room with a washer and dryer and access to a lakeview balcony set up with a large Weber Grill for outdoor grilling.
Back by the entry of the home are steps down to the lower level and just past the hall is access to the Master Suite. The Master Suite is set up perfectly with a king size bed, walk-in closet, desk, a flat screen TV, access to the balcony patio and another amazing view of the Lake. You’ll be in luxury as you enjoy the Suite’s double sink vanity, jetted soaking tub and walk-in shower especially designed for two.
The main living lakefront outdoor balcony patio is set up perfectly to enjoy the sunrises and coffee with bistro seating for up to 4 and 2 ideally positioned lounge chairs. The patio is accessible from either the living room, dining room or Master Suite.
Downstairs is your entertainment destination. What an amazing lakeview bar! This bar is stocked with a mini-refrig, wine cooler and dishwasher – perfect for rinsing glassware and appetizer plates. Watch the games or boat races on the flat screen TV or enjoy playing cards or puzzles at the side game table. Just outside the bar is the expansive lower concrete covered patio with outdoor ceiling fans, dining for 6 and outside patio seating for another 6.
Downstairs also includes the three other bedrooms to the home. Off to the left of the bar is the 2nd bedroom mini-suite. It is also lake view with a queen size bed and private bathroom with a shower tub combination. This room also has slider door access to the lower outdoor patio. The 3rd and 4th bedrooms are on the opposite side of the bar. One bedroom is supplied with a full size sofa sleeper and has access to an outside side patio. The 4th bedroom is lake view with a queen size bed and access to the lower outdoor concrete patio. These two bedrooms share access to a hall bathroom complete with a walk-in shower.
The property offers extensive lake views of Proctor Cove with 100-plus feet of shoreline, several outside staircases and landscape gardens. At the shoreline Proctor 55 boasts calm waters and includes your own private dock - great for sunning/relaxing, swimming, boating and/or fishing. Whatever suits your fancy! Pack a picnic at the dock picnic table and entertain guests with the additional dock seating. The dock is also equipped with a water supplied fish cleaning station. Guest can rent the dock’s open boat slip (10x24) or 1-to-2 jet ski lifts for $10 per day. The property does include access to some water toys - kayaks - must bring your own life jackets to use. Boat trailer parking is not suitable at the home. We recommend storing your trailer at the nearby Mallard Bay Marina.
Parking at the home is suitable for up to 4 vehicles only – 2 in the driveway in front of the owner’s private garage, a small space next to the garage for a compact vehicle and one additional car at the top of the driveway. The driveway is fairly steep so plan ahead as you park vehicles. And know that the subdivision road to the home is not suitable for roadside parking.
