Located on the second floor of an old department store (Watt and Shand), the Sunrise Loft is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom loft that boasts six huge arched windows that let in gorgeous natural light during any time of day. Mornings are especially perfect, however.
The kitchen: Granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar, and a large kitchen sink make this kitchen seem larger than it is! The kitchen is always stocked with coffee, tea, spices, dishware, utensils, and even sugar and oil, should you decide to start cooking up a storm! The fridge always has a few complimentary beverages waiting for guests when they arrive.
The dining room: Has a four-person table.
The living room: A couch, accent chair, area rug, record player, and TV. (the TV has a full motion swing arm so you can view it comfortably from the couch)
Bedroom 1: One queen size bed, a closet, and a reading nook with a chair swing (weight limit of 175 lbs).
Bedroom 2: One queen size bed, and a closet.
Bathroom: Always stocked with fresh supplies. (bathroom towels are in bedroom 1 closet)
The entire space is yours!
I will not meet you in person unless there is an emergency or a need. I live about 20 minutes away from the property but am happy to come out if needed.
Founded in 1726 by Quakers, Columbia, PA, is a cute little rivertown that sits right on the Susquehanna River, the longest river on the east coast (New York to the Chesapeake Bay). Dotted with antique shops, a market, and home to the Turkey Hill Experience (if you know, you know), Columbia also is home to the First National Bank Museum, a clock museum, and has a beautiful riverwalk which will delight bicyclists and walkers alike.
Fun fact: Columbia was just a few votes shy of becoming the early United States new capital (Washington DC somehow won that round).
The Sunrise Loft is close to a couple of cafes, some restaurants, and within walking distance to several antique stores.
Walking is very doable around Columbia. Parking is available directly in front of the building (metered) or in on a side street a couple of blocks away (free).
This Airbnb is located in a small apartment building. We cannot guarantee that every other tenant will be respectful, quiet, or pleasant, but we have never had any issues so far.
There is a pizza shop directly below the apartments on the first floor.
