Positive: The property was super cute, clean, and close to the village life! We loved the game room even though the foosball table and pool table were both broken (we made it work)! It was completely stocked, yay!!! The staff was great & easy to get ahold of when needed. For example, they brought us propane in the middle of our stay. It was a bit late for the meals we planned, but great follow up! The showers were amazing …. BIG walk-ins!
Negative: Sadly, this property is poorly located next to the gas station, so lots of random people and loud noise even throughout the night. Many people walked up to the door, knocked and tried to open the door, and even poked their head in the window because there is a large sign out front by the road that says Mexican Grill. Unfortunately, the poor ventilation and non working or efficient AC made this trip miserable. We tried changing the dirty air filters and were told to open the windows, but nothing worked and there was no air flow. We couldn’t even enjoy the living space or eat/cook inside because we would sweat while simply sitting. I believe it was a mixture of a poor AC unit, lack of portable fans, and poor location for natural ventilation due to surrounding buildings, afternoon sun, and not being able to leave windows open all day because of the walking traffic of the location. We paid a lot for a home we couldn’t enjoy. We were sad because it was a great house and clean, but overall we were miserable and happy to leave. However, we will 100% use Vacasa again! Loved the amenities and customer service.
Summary: We may have had a not so good experience, but will definitely give Vacasa homes in a different location another try!
