Summary: My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at The Wayback. Our room was very clean and welcoming. The room came with a couple bottles of water, Café Bustelo k-cups, decaf coffee, and hot tea k-cup options. We were given cards that could be redeemed for complimentary palomas at the hotel bar. We only stayed two nights, but I was very pleased that they do still actually come make you bed and replenish towels, coffee, and take out the trash daily. So many hotels seem to only do that upon request since the pandemic. I loved that we didn't need to drive anywhere. The Island is directly across the street with crosswalks. There are plenty of other shops and restaurants within a mile each direction as well. I was slightly disappointed that the vintage airstream bar by the pool wasn't open. I could have sworn I read it was open daily. Other than that our stay was perfect and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will be back.
