Each Villa at the botanical garden dressed in chic mid-century modern found at Harveys Lake! Two of the Villa at a full 600 square feet and one Villa at 480 square feet, you'll enjoy the regular luxuries of a full-size home without sacrificing comfort! 8 easy minutes from the lake resort where you can swim, kayak and boat. Kayaking is free and we have a dock for motorboat access. A short drive finds restaurants, Ricketts Glen waterfalls, outlet shops, skiing, waterpark, beer wine & harvest festival.
My newly renovated Botanical Garden Village comes with 3 separate Villas on a 2 acre Earth Ship. The Earth Ship feeds the botanical gardens through an underground irrigation system that regulates temperate in the tiny villas while sustaining the vegetation through the green walls constructed of repurposed material. You would never believe it was all recycled from the beautiful vegetation that spreads across the outdoor retaining walls. The Botanical Village is located in the heart of Harvey's Lake! The Villas are tiny, but mighty. While each home is only 600 square feet (one 480), it’s open and airy layout can accommodate up to 12 people.
The grounds are a botanical garden filled local flowers and fruit that you can pick from our fruit trees when in season!
Villa #1 called Rosebud is furnished with one queen-size pillow top bed in bedroom 1, one full-size memory foam bed in bedroom 2 and a Serta memory foam sleeper sofa in the living room. (We'll let you draw straws to decide who is sleeping where—ha!) The optimal number of guests would be 1-5 people. But we can definitely fit 6 if you're willing to squeeze and sleep on the mid-century modern couch!
Villa #2 called Tiger Lilly is furnished with one queen-size pillow top bed in bedroom 1, one queen mattress bed in bedroom 2 and a Serta memory foam sleeper sofa in the living room. (We'll let you draw straws to decide who is sleeping where—ha!) The optimal number of guests would be 1-5 people. But we can definitely fit 6 if you're willing to squeeze and sleep on the mid-century modern couch!
Villa #3 called Peach Tree is furnished with one full-size hybrid foam bed in bedroom 1, one sofa in the living room. Two Roll out beds are available for extra guests. (We'll let you draw straws to decide who is sleeping where—ha!) The optimal number of guests would be 1-3 people. But we can definitely fit 4 if you're willing to squeeze and sleep on the mid-century modern couch!
Please keep in mind, the houses are tiny house but the grounds are large and offer privacy if you decide to travel as friends or co-families.
Inside the three separate kitchens, you'll find all the glasses, cups, mugs, wine glasses, silverware, pots, pans and plates you need to cook yourself dinner from scratch! Or, cook on one of the three outdoor grills.
There are a total of three living rooms furnished with a nice flat-screen smart tv for each villa where you'll be able to Netflix and relax with friends and family. Play cards or a board game as well.
In terms of amenities, we've got you covered too! You'll have access to small, yet important, things like: An iron, blow dryer, towels, soap, bathroom papers, linens and more.
Enjoy a morning coffee with our Kuirig. We provide regular or decaf, so remember to pack your favorite k-cup if you wish!
Enjoy the night with a hot cocoa before settling in.
If TV is not your thing, turn up the heat in one of three hot tubs! Yup, each Villa has a separate hot tub! Or toast a marshmallow at the firepit!

Guests have full access to the botanical gardens, the house, grill, patio, fire pit and hot tub.
Guests have full access to the Sunset Beach Lake Resort where you can swim, picnic, kayak, play in the sand and sunbathe. There are lifeguards on duty. A restroom is on site along with a pavilion with electricity. Resort is seasonal.
Guests have access to free kayaking upon request.
Guest may request dock parking for motorboats.
Reserve free kayaking through the host.
If you wish to bring a boat, you must make the host aware of your intent before booking. The dock has boat size limitations and availability.
