A completely renovated lakefront home, with large windows and comfortable sitting areas. The living room offers a wonderful view of the cove and opens out to a large deck where you can enjoy coffee in the morning or dinner at sunset. The deck also gives you a bird's eye view of the wildlife on the lake including ducks, geese, osprey, blue heron, and water turtles. Almost every room in the house overlooks the lake – this includes two of the three bedrooms, living areas, and the kitchen/dining room.
Located on a quiet secluded cove, the home is only a few hundred feet from the main channel. With limited water traffic, the cove is the perfect place for swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding. The oversized dock is great for lounging, fishing, playing, and tying up your boat. For some “alone time” retreat to the porch swing with a good book – in the shade and overlooking the lake. In the evening after a fun day on the lake, gather around the fire pit, and enjoy the stars! The property offers two inflatable, one person kayaks .
In addition to the home’s many amenities, Lake Norman State Park is less than three miles away. The park offers 36 miles of mountain bike and hiking trails, a public boat ramp, and a shallow wading area with a sandy beach for small children. You can also rent pedal boats and canoes at the park.
