Positive: The property is part of Travertine Wines and has a beautiful location and view. We really enjoyed dining outside and watching the kangaroos at sunset. The layout is very spacious, with a master bedroom, en-suite bathroom and laundry room at one side of the house. There is a huge open-plan lounge and kitchen in the middle. Then two bedrooms, a bathroom (with shower and bath) and separate powder room at the other side. This was great travelling with children. Whilst the Airkeeper hosts were challenging (see below), the Travertine Wine owners were very accommodating and left us some complimentary wine on arrival as we had stayed at their smaller apartment before. They had also left us some baby-friendly cleaning spray, which was very thoughtful. We had a great time and would very happily book again. Thank you Travertine Wines!
Negative: The booking process with Airkeeper was very challenging. I called Airkeeper and emailed Travertine wines to confirm this was a legit process. It took 11 emails to Airkeeper to satisfy their requirements, which seemed to change each time. This included photo ID, a photo of your credit card, selfies with the same, and a summary of everyone in your group, their ages and relationships. We travel regularly and this was extremely unusual. I had to ask for secure link each time they requested photos. They shouldn’t be asking for sensitive information by email for security purposes. It was very onerous and took nearly two hours to satisfy the check-in requirements. Minor points to consider: • A cot for a baby was advertised, but not available. • For any guests, remember to bring milk, butter, coffee/french press and full-size bathroom products.
