Ty Pren is a unique wooden lodge offering stunning views over Newport Bay, the beach and surrounding countryside. Set in over half an acre of private grounds on the slopes of Carningli, it is a haven of peace and tranquillity, the perfect place to relax and unwind.
The garden has large lawns, leafy shaded spaces, a variety of fruit trees, organic vegetable gardens and a polytunnel. Guests are welcome to cook and eat produce during their stay in exchange for a bit of weeding and watering!
Outside the gates of Ty Pren is a shepherd's track which takes you straight onto Carningli Mountain for amazing walks and views across the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
Newport village is a 10-15 minute walk away where you will find a great selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes, along with galleries, pharmacy, butchers, wholefood shop and a convenience store. From the village, a 5 minute walk leads down to the estuary and the famous Pembrokeshire Coast Path. At low tide you can paddle across to Newport Sands.
After a day of exploring, come home to a warm cosy fire or relax on the veranda to enjoy the sunsets over the bay and spectacular night skies.
